The Blessing of Phul
During a tour of the Malwa region, a young boy named Phul was brought to the Guru. The boy was slapping his stomach in hunger. The Guru blessed him, prophesying that his descendants would provide food for thousands. This child became the ancestor of the Phulkian dynasty, the royal houses of Patiala, Nabha, and Jind.
