The First Installation
When the Adi Granth was complete, the Guru placed it on a high pedestal while he himself sat on the floor, teaching that the Word of God is higher than any human. He appointed Baba Buddha Ji as the first high priest, establishing a tradition of reverence for the Shabad (divine sound).
