Two magnificent horses intended for the Guru were seized by Mughal officials. Bhai Bidhi Chand, a former thief turned devotee, disguised himself first as a grass-cutter and then as a fortune teller to daringly steal the horses back from the Lahore Fort, returning them to the Guru’s stable.
