The Stand at Chamkaur
Inside a small mud fort, the Guru and 40 hungry Sikhs faced an imperial tide of thousands. One by one, the Sikhs went out to fight. The Guru watched his eldest sons, Baba Ajit Singh and Baba Jujhar Singh, fall heroically. When the last five Sikhs ordered him to escape to preserve the Panth, he obeyed the collective will of the Khalsa.
