Gurdwara Sri Chohla Sahib
Guru Arjan Dev Ji spent substantial time in this village (originally called Bhaini) during his extensive development travels across the Majha heartland. A local woman served the Guru a simple meal with deep devotion; leading the Guru to rename the village 'Chohla Sahib' (Blessed Dish). The Guru settled family disputes here; established civic hygiene rules; and accelerated local well-digging programs.
